No. University of Dublin is an International University. We have no geographical barrier for prospective students who wish to earn a degree. As a distance learning institution, the University does not operate a campus like traditional educational institutions do. Due to the benefits of online technology, we have alumni across the United States and around the world.

Q: How is University of Dublin, CA different from traditional colleges and universities?

University of Dublin, CA is a non-traditional, distance learning educational institution. Unlike traditional colleges and universities, we have no residency requirements, no buildings or campus, and no full-time faculty. Instead, we use technology to reach students, allowing them to pursue their degree wherever they are. We recognize that not everyone has the time or money required to attend a traditional university. Through our Life Experience Degree Program, we offer students the opportunity to obtain their degree based on knowledge and experience they already have. This takes far less time and money than going the traditional route, thereby allowing you to advance your career by obtaining a degree without having to take time away from work or family.

Q: How long will it take to receive my degree?

The assessment process can take anywhere from 24 hours to several days depending on your qualifications and experience and our ability to review and verify your data. The length of time required for verification is affected by several factors, including the number of additional transcripts, certificates or certifications we need from you and how long it takes you to get them to us. Once you are approved for a degree from University of Dublin, CA, it generally takes 03 to 05 business days to prepare your degree, student record, and other materials before they are shipped out. All documents are shipped via FedEx.

Q: Will my degree be legal? Can I include it on my resume and other official documents?

Yes. Your degree is a legitimate life experience degree. Once obtained, you are free to use it as you wish.

Q: How will I be able to verify my degree to prospective employers?
A.
As soon as you receive your degree from University of Dublin, CA, your records are kept with our academic registrar. At anytime employers can verify your academic record just as they would with any traditional university provided we receive written permission from you to release your academic records.

Q: Will my degree mention that I gained it through a "distance learning" or "Life Experience degree program"?
A.
No. Your diploma and academic transcripts appear just as they would if you had graduated from a "traditional" university meaning there is no mention of the words "equivalency," "non-traditional," "distance learning," or any similar expression will appear on your degree, your academic record or any other documents you receive from the University of Dublin, CA.

Q. Can I get a replacement degree if it is damaged?
A.
Yes! You can get a replacement degree. If the diploma or documents are damaged in shipping to you they will be completely replaced without cost. If at a later date you damage or lose any documents they also may be replaced. Just reference your student number and the files can be accessed. In this case, there will be a charge for replacement documents.
